The BBC Counseling Center offers pastoral and professional biblical counseling to cover a variety of needs. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Spiritual needs
  • Individual counseling
  • Marital counseling
  • Family Counseling
  • Premarital Counseling
  • Outside referrals

We do not consider our Counseling Center to be a crisis center, but rather a short-term biblical counseling facility. If this is an emergency, please dial 911 or Magellan Health Services of Arizona Crisis Line at 602.222.9444 or Empact Crisis Line at 480.784.1500.

Making an appointment

It will be necessary for you to complete the following forms before your first appointment in the BBC Counseling Center.

Adults

(If you are seeking couples counseling, one of each form is needed from each person.)

Children and Adolescents (12-17)

(If you are seeking counseling for a minor, each family member needs to fill out their own form. If a family member under 18 will be attending, the appropriate intake form for their age needs to be filled out by parent or legal guardian, and the minor needs to fill out the Child and Adolescent Intake Form. We require parents to be actively involved in the counseling.)

Please follow these steps to complete your forms:

  1. Open the appropriate set of forms
  2. Print them on your printer
  3. Fill them out and sign, and then bring them into your scheduled appointment.

To schedule an appointment, please call Pastor Stan Whitney at 602.344.3360. During your first appointment and while using your completed intake forms, we will make an appropriate referral to one of the following:

  • Pastoral counseling
  • Staff professional counseling
  • Outside professional counselor
  • Support/recovery groups
